Trivia
-
Some references to the world of Dishonored exist within the events of the timeline:
- The historic witch trials that occurred on Blackreef during the distant past may be a nod towards the Abbey of the Everyman, an antagonistic religious faction in the Dishonored games that focused on the burning of witches and heretics up to the 1850s.
- The Anomaly and the apocalyptic events that consume the outside world are heavily implied to be related to The Void, the otherworldly magical dimension of the Dishonored games.
- The "Imperial Institute of Cartography" suggests that the Empire (or a rump version of it) continued to exist up to the early 20th Century.
